Re: Tips to crack IIT JEE?
Dear Friend
One can tell you thousands of tips to crack IIT-JEE but you are the person who is going to implement those tips during your preparation. I would suggest you to just concentrate on few points and don't panic for tips and tricks. 1.Do your studies well. 2.Stay confident always. 3.Never get frustrated with your failures. i.e., Try to learn from failures. If you are concentrating on the above three points then you don't need any suggestion. There is a very common dilemma that one should give 12-14 hours to studies for cracking IIT-JEE. Also, one must practice TMH or some big brand books like I.E.Irodov, J.D.Lee, I.A.Maron etc. Please don't mind this sort knowledge. Everyone can have different perception and methodology of studies. If you will try to fit in the methodology of others then it could be problematic for you. Try to make your own methodology and do your studies comfortably which makes you feel that you can do it. I have few fundamental suggestion for you. Whenever you are starting a topic you should complete it via NCERT or some other standard book. If you have joined some coaching institution for preparation then classnotes will be very much helpful while completing theory portions. Again for praticing questions/numericals you should refer some standard books and ofcourse previous year IIT-JEE questions of that particular topic. Books: NCERT for all subject. Once you are done with theory and questions of NCERT then practice previous year question papers of IIT-JEE. For tht you purchase Arihant's IIT-JEE question bank with solution. The questions are given topic wise for ease of preparation. If you want some more practice then refer the following books. Physics => H.C.Verma; This book can be studied as an standard text book. Solving all the problems of this book would be good enough. You can add some extra confidence to yourself by solving problems from I.E.Irodov. These two books will clear all concepts in physics (as far as IIT-JEE is concerned). =>Chemistry; This subject require remembering things to more extent rather than learning them deeply. So just refer the NCERT for Physical and Inorganic chemistry and solve questions from previous years IIT-JEE. For Organic chemistry something more than NCERT could be required. Refer some good institution's study material and Peter Sykes book for reaction mechanism. =>Mathematics; This subject requires a lot of practice so you will have to go more than NCERT for sure. This doesn't mean that NCERT is not sufficient. Going more than NCERT means the more you practice more you learn. You can refer Arihant publication books for practice. Don't forget to practice IIT-JEE question papers. At last I would suggest you to complete your syllabus at least 3 months before the exam so that you can get sufficient time to brush up your concepts and revise everything you have studied. Finally, while doing your preparation never think about results. Just do your work and wait for the result |

IIT-JEE is the best engineering entrance exam in india and is considered little difficult to crack .So, you need to work hard for that .There is no any shortcut of success and here also don’t expect shortcut.I am providing you some tips which can work better for you : •Prepare from NCERT books as these books are considered best for cracking this exam as suggested by almost all major experts. •The questions asked from class 11 and 12th are in 40 ,60% respectively. So you need to work both on class 11 and 12th as well. •It would be better for you to join some good coaching institutes as these provides good guidelines for cracking this type of exam. •IIT-JEE ask generally conceptual question so don’t just try to memorize the things. •Practice –ERODOV and HC verma physics. •For mathematics read NCERT, Pratyush books e.t.c •Practice previous year papers as well as sample papers. •Take part in online preparation test. •Take special care on time management as most of the students fails in this regard. Rest of things depends upon practice because "Practice makes a person perfect". With Regards ravik1214 |

Some tips for IIT-JEE :-
• It is always a good idea to start preparing for IIT-JEE at the very beginning of 11th standard. This helps save time and moreover relates a lot of stuff to the already existing material for board’s study. • Believe in yourselves and work hard. • Do not miss a portion of the syllabus. • If you have started your preparation late then it is always a good idea to cover minimum 80% of the total course and be thorough with it instead of trying of to study the entire curriculum. • Incorporate difficult topics if you already have a sound understanding of them. • Make sure that you use the right reference and study material as it can make a tremendous difference to your scores. It is recommended to study from the books which contain numerous solved questions. Focus on the method of solving the problems. • There is no scope for rote learning in IIT JEE. • Be very sure of your concepts, if not spend days to solve a problem but work out a reason for it. • Spend the initial few months in revising the basic concepts learnt in standard 9th and 10th basic books and NCERT fundamentals. • Ensure that you study concepts like algebra, mechanics extensively as they high scoring and form the basis of several other topics • At the time of examination start solving the questions as soon as you receive the paper. Do not scan the paper and mark the questions you simply waste time. But do not devote excess time with a question if you are not able to solve it. • Maintain your confidence level at time of exam.
