Re: Eligibility to opt for MS from US after passing B.E in IT?
Literally anybody can do higher education (by higher education I mean Masters and the Ph.D) or what is known as "the graduate studies" in the US.
Most universities say that they need 16 years of education to become eligible for graduate studies. So, anyone with 10+2+ a four year degree or a three year degree + diploma or a post graduation are eligible to go to the US. So, if you can convince the academic panel that you have it in you what it takes for someone to do the Masters or a Ph.D, they will be only glad to accept you. While 16 years is straight forward, you need to put in a bit more work to go after 15 years (i.e. 10+2+ a three year degree). |
