Any one who seeks to pursue Master of Computer Application [MCA] through Indira Gandhi National Open University, must have completed the Bachelors Degree program in any discipline from a recognized University with Mathematics at the +2 level. Candidate who have not pursued Mathematics as a distinct subject at +2 are required to pursue and pass the CS-60 course concurrently. The duration of the program is three years which can be completed at the maximum span of six years.

There is no entrance examinations conducted for admission to the Master of Computer Application [MCA] program by Indira Gandhi National Open University.

In order to take Admission in MCA Course in IGNOU,You will have to appear in OPEN-MAT Exam.

Basic Requirements you will have to fulfill,in order to appear in this exam are :-

Qualification :-
-->>You should be passed out in Bachelor degree from recognized university/BCA/B.SC(IT).

NOTE :- If you do not have Mathematics at 10+2/Graduation then you will have to enrolled for CHS-63 Course for studying Mathematics for 10+2 and Graduation Level Mathematics.

Marks :-
-->>If you are a working Professional and Having Working Certificate,then your minimum marks in Graduation should be 45%.

-->>If you do not have Working Certificate,then your minimum marks in Graduation should be 55%.

Age :-
-->>There is no age Limit for this course.
