Sir,
I want to do MBBS in AIIMS.
So, tell me what entrance exam is
there for admission? I am in 11th now
so I want to know about the entrance exam.

You can go for the MBSS course in AIIMS only on the basis of you rank in the AIPMT 2016 entrance exam.
This exam is mainly conducted by the CBSE board every year.This exam is used to be conducted for the allotment of seats in the top levl of the medical colleges.

Eligiblity Criteria for AIPMT is:-

The condidate should have passed in your 12th examination with Physics and Biology.
Chemistry and Biology or Mathamatics as compulsory subjects from a recognised board.

So, If you have scored minimum 50% marks in PCM/PCM subjects then you are eligible to get admission in B.Pharmacy Course.
If you have passed in your 12Th examination with minimum 50% marks in PCB/PCM subjects then you are eligible to get admission through AIPMT.

AIIMS stands for the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. AIIMS conducts its own entrance exams for the candidates willing to pursue Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from institutes of AIIMS located in different states of India.

The eligibility criteria for AIIMS entrance exam is as below:

>>If you have passed your 10+2 or appearing for it from a recognized board with physics, chemistry and biology as compulsory subjects then you can apply for this entrance exam.

>>Minimum percentage of marks in 10+2 must be at least 60% in the subjects mentioned above along with English for general and OBC candidates and 50% for the SC/ST candidates.

>>Your minimum age in the year of examination must be 17 years on 31st December of that year

As you have mentioned in the query that you are in class 10+1, so you are not eligible for the 2015 AIIMS entrance exam.

You can apply for the AIIMS in 2016 till then prepare for the exam with good determination and hard labour.

It is a tough exam as number of seats are less and candidates applying are very large as compared to seats available. Brush up your concepts of PCB subjects and practice previous years questions as much as possible.

To study MBBS in AIIMS, you should give the AIIMS MBBS Entrance exam.

To give this exam, you should firstly complete your 12th or appearing 12th with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology as your subjects with 60% aggregate from recognized University.

As you are in 11th now, you can give this exam after your 12th or while you are appearing for 12th and also you should complete 17 years of age at the time of application.

In order to do Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from All India Institute of Medical Science, you will have to clear the entrance exam conducted by the AIIMS every year.

For this entrance exam, eligibility criteria is as below:

Candidates must have passed or appearing for 10+2 from a recognized board. The subjects like Physics, Biology and Chemistry should be compulsory in 10+2 along with english.

If you have passed 10+2, your % of marks in these subjects must not be less than 60.

The minimum age on 31st december of year of admission should be 17 years.

Right now you are in 10+1, so you are not eligible for the exam. You can apply for next year AIIMS entrance exam, notification is released in month of March of every year.

All India Institute of Medical Science conducts its own entrance exam. For this exam the minimum eligibility criteria is:

~~10+2 passed or appearing from a recognized board with PCB group along english and minimum of 60 % aggregate in these subjects.

~~Age should be minimum of 17 years on 31st december of year of examination.

So, you cannot go for MBBS in AIIMS in being a 11th standard candidate. You must wait for one year.

The notification of AIIMS is released in March every year. From 2015 AIIMS entrance test goes online, it will be computer based online test.
