Re: Exams for becoming Intelligence Officer in India?
To be part of the intellingece dept. one have to apply for the vacancies by SSC for postings in CBI.But it is direct recuritment in CBI for which one have to have some short of experience which can vary at times. There are also vacancies for Intelligence Officers for which a candidate needs to be a graduate not more 27 years,3 years relaxation for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.The selected candidates are called for a written test followed by an interview.

Re: Exams for becoming Intelligence Officer in India?
Application should be typed according to the(Appendix-I) format as mentioned in the advertisement on plain white paper and is to be sent directly to opted centre indicating the Code No. and Examination Centre from Table ‘A’ as in the advertisement. The Code number and Name of the Centre of Examination selected by the candidate must be super scribed in bold letters as “Application for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade II/Tech” on the left corner of the envelop. A recent passport size photograph signed by the candidate must be pasted in the space provided in the application and another copy should be attached with the admit card. Centre of Examination once decide on will not be changed.
