Respected Sir,

I have applied for the post of the Intelligence Officer in Narcotics Control Bureau. But till now I didn't get any information regading the exam date.

So please help in getting the information about becoming Intelligence Officer in NCB.

The candidate who wishes to become Intelligence Officer in Narcotics Control Bureau has to appear for SSC exam.

Eligibility criteria to apply for Intelligence Officer in Narcotics Control Bureau are as under :-

-The candidate must be either a citizen of India, Nepal, or Bhutan.

-The candidate should possess graduate or equivalent from a recognized university.Computer knowledge is also desirable.

-The candidate age limit is from 18 years to 27 years.There are relaxations as per the Government rule.

-The Selection Procedure consists of Written Test followed by Personal Interview .

Physical requirements to apply for the post of Intelligence Officer in NCB:

For male candidates belonging to general category :

Height : 165 cms

Chest :

Unexpanded : 77 cms

Expanded : 82 cms


For male candidates belonging to Hill areas and tribals:

Height : 162.5 cms

Chest :

Unexpanded : 75 cms

Expanded : 80 cms


For Female candidates belonging to general category :

Height : 157 cms


For male candidates belonging to Hill areas and tribals:

Height : 154 cms


Physical Efficiency(Endurance) Test (PET)

For male candidates only

Walking : 1600 Meters (1.6 Km) in 15 minutes.
Cycling : 08 Km in 30 minutes.

For female candidates only

Walking : 01 Km in 15 minutes.
Cycling : 05 Km in 30 minutes.
Weight : Corresponding to height

Eye sight : 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes with or without wearing of glasses.

-The candidate must not have knock knees, flat foot, bow legs, varicose vein, squint in eye, any loss of part of body and they should posses high color vision.

Sir! now I pursuing 12th So please tell me anything after what's i do to join intelligence officer cause i need this job and i love this job please tell me truly sir i am to Sirius for this.

Are candidates who have undergone a club foot corrective surgery eligible to join the narcotics bureau?
