If you are in fourth sem then it's good time to prepare for entrance exam. Generally pre mca exam is conducted to get admission in mca. Exam is conducted by state gov. With distinct exam dates. And all india mca also conducted in february /march month. You can prepare that by own or can get a good institute for coching. Ok best of luck.

IS THERE ENTRANCE EXAM IN IGNOU UNIVERSITY FOR MCA ADMISSION?

After BCA there are many entrance exams taking place all over India for MCA....

1) Maharashtra MAH MCA-CET -- it is the MCA Common Entrance Test in Maharashtra.

2) NIMCET -- it is the Entrance Exam for MCA in National Institutes of Technology (NITs).

3) AIMCET -- it is the Entrance Exam for MCA in IITs.

the exam will held in the 1st week of June, not yet sure.

the forms will be available from the month of march both online and offline.

4) PU MCA -- it is the entrance exam for MCA in Pune university.

The fee structure for MCA varies from college to college....

It is for government and different for Private college...

In govt colleges it is comparatively less than private colleges.

For example....

the fees per semester in IGNOU is up to Rs.12,200 excluding the elective subject charges...while in institutes such as BITS, it reaches to Rs.30,000 per semester.

For Admission in MCA college you must have graduation degree from any university or institution. then You entered in Entrance exam conducted by college for MCA admission.
fees structure for MCA class not same for all colleges but likely to same.
As per my information IGNOU is affordable for any courses. fees for mca in ignou per semester 12500 and in other college charge for same 30000 to 40000 per semester.
