If you wish to take admission in IITs, then you will have to crack JEE Advanced Exam conducted jointly by IITs.

Also, you will have to firstly qualify JEE Main Exam to be eligible for JEE Advanced Exam.

Main exam is conducted by CBSE and specific amount of weightage is given to 12th Board Marks as well for preparing merit list.

Aeronautical Engineering is not available in all engineering colleges of India.

Just because, the equipments used in this branch is not widely available everywhere and they are costly enough.

The cost of this course varies from college to college.
  • For private university like SRM, the fee for this course is approx. 2.5 lacs,
  • For the best aeronautical engineering college established in Dehradun i.e. Indian Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, it costs about 9 lacs for the 4 years
  • While in other private colleges, it starts from a minimum of 35,000 per to 2.5 lacs per annum
