after BDS you should do MDS, otherwise only BDS will not give you a secure future.

you can also do MBA after BDS.

After completing your BDS course, you can either do further studies like MDS,MBA etc as per your interest or do private practise.
Or you can join any dental hospital as a job.

After completing BDS Course you can do MBBS course.

Now MBBS course is of 7 years, as per mumbai university rules & regulations.

OR

After completing BDS Course you can join any hospital / institute and start practice.

OR

After the completion of BDS course, you are eligible to apply for Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) course.

OR

After completing BDS Course , you may start your own private practice. Though the knowledge and the clinical dexterity gained in this institution is sufficient for any student to begin general dental practice.

OR

The fresh graduates may work as assistants to any well-known private dental practioners for few months before venturing on their own. The graduate is also eligible to apply to various institutions abroad for further studies.

BDS is bachelor degree in the dental services and the course is of 4 years .To get admission in good colleges you have to appear for the state entrance exam or other university entrance exams .The eligibility for these exams are that you must be above 17 years and less then 25 years and you must have passed class 12th with science streams and biology should be one of your compulsory subjects .

The BDS course has wide career opportunity .The scope of BDS is quite good.
