hi friends...........
Is there any other way to have a better future for bds students other than MDS? because MDS has also saturated in India & off course , there is no value for bds in India.i work in a college as a lecturer,but gets a very low pay.
i feel depressed as after giving so many efforts since my intermediate,i m gaining nothing.please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are many career opportunities for a BDS graduate:

Employment areas being;

1. Government Hospital

2. Research and Advisory Departments

3. Forensic Department

4. Research on subjects like oral cancer etc.

Even in government sectors there are many opportunities.

By giving various government examinations you can easily get a good and high profile job in government sector.

Some government examinations are:

1. UPSC

2. State PSCS

3. SSC

4. IBPS , PO etc.

You can even start up your clinic or work as a dental consultant, etc.

Higher studies is another option for you.

You can go for higher studies in the below mentioned courses:

1. M.Sc in Medical Anatomy.

2. Medical Physiology.

3. Medical biochemistry.

4. Medical Microbiology.

5. Applied Microbiology.

6. Neuroscience, etc.

So you see there are many scopes after BDS which you can proceed with and have a better future.
