You can apply into the JAdavpur University for phd in Biotechnology after your masters.This university provides the good labs as well as good placement .Having highly educated faculties.

after Qualifying CSIR-NET EXAM.. u would be able to apply in all the gud universities lke AIIMS, JAMIA MILLIA UNIV.,DELHI UNIV. IARI(indian agriculture research institute) ETC WITH SCHOLARSIP IN phd.
U can also apply -after qualifying universities own entrance exams and interviews-- for JNU, ICMR,ICAR,TIFR,IISC, BARC.
CSIR NET EXAM - HELD ON JUNE AND DECEMBER every yr.
FOR JNU AND OTHER UNIVERSITIES FORMS --SEARCH THROUGH NET.

i have done M.Sc bioinformatics, and working in a core bioinformatics/biotechnology industry as Database curator(Jr.Scientist). I have job experience of 2yrs, I cant see any growth in my company, I want to pursue Phd in bioinformatics. Is it necessary to clear NET, GATE, ICMR, etc exams to get enrolled in Phd?.
