Re: Which government competition exams can I appear after passing graduation with 45% in B.A
With this qualification, you can apply for bank exams to get in to officer posts in nationalized banks. PO post will be apt for you provided you are able to qualify bank recruitment exams followed by GD and P.I. Civil services exam is also a good option. IAS, IPS posts will be some of the posts where in you can apply. Also, jobs in railways will be a feasible option. Job profiles like TTE, section officer, divisional officer etc will be the most suitable posts for graduates.

There are so many Govt. Competitive exams you can appear after Graduation from Arts stream, some top competitive exams conducted by UPSC are as follows:-
CDS - Combined Defence Service to join Defence Services - you are eligible to apply for Indian Military Academy and Officer's Training Academy of CDS within the age of 19 to 25 years. Civil Service Exam to become an IAS/IPS/IRS/IFS etc. officer - As you are a Graduate, you can apply for the same within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. Re: Which government competition exams can I appear after passing graduation with 45% in B.A
As per my opinion there are two entrance exams that will suite you the best. You should either apply for the banking job in the nationalized banks or appear for the Civil Services Examination.
The Civil Services Examination is the most popular government entrance exam in India. More than 10 Lakh students appear for it every year. You can apply for the Civil Services Examination for Indian Administrative Service or the Indian Police Service. You are meeting the qualification criteria for the Civil Services Examination. It is not possible to appear for the entrance exam this year therefore you should try and appear for it next year when UPSC decides to conduct it. Eligibility 1. You should be citizen of India. 2. With minimum of graduation degree. 3. In which there is no percentage criteria. 4. Lower age limit is 21 years old. 5. While upper age should not be more than 30 years. 6. However OBC can appear till 33 years. 7. Where SC/ST can appear till 35 years. Selection Procedure 1. Preliminary Exam (Stage 1) 2. Main Exam (Stage 2) 3. Interview (Stage 3) In banking sector as I mentioned you can apply for job in nationalized banks which are commonly known as government banks. There are 19 such banks who conduct a Common written test. This test is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services. You can apply for the IBPS Bank Clerk entrance exam but not for the Bank PO. To apply you should be able to meet the following criteria. Eligibility 1. IBPS exams are only for Indian nationals. 2. A graduation degree is needed to appear. 3. No percentage criteria in graduation. 4. Should be fluent in official language of state where you want job. 5. Diploma/degree in Computers is also required. 6. Or you should have studied Computers subject in high school or college. 7. Only people of age group of 20 to 28 years are eligible. Age Relaxation 1. For OBC the relaxation is 3 years. 2. Five years for SC/ST. 3. Ten years in upper age limit for Person With Disability. |
