Dear Sir

I have done MBA(HR) with 65% and b.com with 48%, and pursing B.ed in 1st year, so explain me that since i am general category, can i apply for CTET 2016?

The candidate having the following minimum educational qualification are eligible for appearing in CTET 2016 exam:

Minimum educational qualification for becoming teacher for classes I-V (Primary stage)

- Passed 10+2 with atleast 50% marks in any discipline and also he/she should have a degree of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education like : D.ED/B.ED/TTC/NTT etc

Minimum educational qualification for becoming teacher for classes Vi-VIII (Elementary Stage):

- Graduation in any discipline (No such marks is required) and he/she should have 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education like : D.ED/B.ED/TTC/NTT etc

Yes, you are eligible for CTET 2016 exam.

Minimum educational qualifications for CTET exam 2016 for becoming teacher is Graduation degree or appearing in final year of graduation degree.

You must have valid B.Ed degree.

Your age should be in between 18 to 40 years
