IMU (Indian Maritime University) offers one year pre-sea training course GME (Graduate Marine Engineering) approved by Directorate General of Shipping. Through GME course, You can become a marine engineer. Admission will be based on entrance exam IMU CET.

Eligibility For GME Course
- You must have passed B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical/Naval Architecture) with at least 50% marks and 60% marks in English at (10+2) level from recognized institute.
- Your age must not be more than 28 years at the time of commencement of training.
- You must be physically fit with eyesight 6/6 with or without external aids. Maximum power permitted +2.5 or -2.5 and No colour blindness permitted.

Entrance Exam Pattern
- Number of Questions : 100
- Total Marks : 100
- Duration : 2 Hours
- No negative marking for any incorrect answer.

- Quantitative Aptitude
- Professional Knowledge Test
- English Language Test
- Reasoning Ability Test
