please tell me the procedure to apply to iit for MTECH courses and also please tell when will the notification will be out

first you have to apply for GATE EXAM
score above 90% and then you can apply individually for every iit according to thier
valid score.
notification are issued in November
in gate 2011 website.

the notification by different colleges will be out after the gatre result is announced,
you have to apply to respective colleges of your choice individually,most of the notifications will be out in the month of april keep looking for them,

you may get admission in iit for m.tech only for the basis of gate entrance exams. if you get good marks then you get a chance to get admission in iit.

Appear for the gate exam..score good in that..so that u cam join mtech in IIt's..for gate u need hard preparation..once u gone through..ur career ll be wonderful..take some coaching..or else study on ur own..all the best..

you can apply in I I T for m.tech by giving gate exam with good percentile .....

i think this is an new course which is being conducted for the first time in iisc banglore,
there is going to be an huge demand for this branch of engineering in near future so its better to go for this course

hello friend,there are two procedure to apply for mtech.

1.self financial
2.through gate.

m.tech admission is done through gate,valid for 2 years.
exam syllabus is of b.tech.

Apply for the GATE exam to do M.Tech. A lot of hard work is required to get admission in any IIT through GATE.

if you are general student then you may require 95% and above,

to get admission in iit in mtech, you will have to give gate exam and get 300 or more marks to become eligible for interview in the iit college. if you pass the interview then only you will get admission in mtech.

you can take admission in IIT by passing GATE eaxm.

GATE is a exam which is conducted for admission in M.TECH. course.as you want to take admission in IITs so you have to score more than 90 percentile for IITs.

most of the students has dream to study in IITs.

the exam of GATE 2011 will be in February 2011.you can get the exam form in december2010.

see Minimum GATE score required for general candidates to get M.Tech Admission in IIT and NIT Colleges is fully varied year to year.

but as a general if you can get rank with in 500, then you can get iits and nits easily.

that means you have to get 98% & above in the gate exam.

For getting into IIT you need to crack GATE exam(no other way).
So prepare for GATE with full vigor,
later on the next levels are quite easy.
The initial step of clearing gate is quite difficult (approx 99%).
