I AM A b.sc.,(maths)final year student, i want to apply si selection?

To join in for the post of Sub inspector, one has to appear for the exam conducted by the concerned Police Recruitment Board.

The eligibility criteria required to apply for SI post in Police are as under :-

-The candidate should have citizenship of India.

-The candidate should have passed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university .

-The candidate age limit to apply for the post should be from 20 years to 25 years .The upper age limit is relaxed as per Governments Rules.

The selection procedure for Sub Inspector comprises of

Written Exam,

Physical Test,

Medical Test,

Document verification, and

Interview .

The physical requirements for a Sub Inspector are as under :

Height :

*For male candidate-170 cm.

*For female candidate-157 cm.

There is relaxation in height for hill men and tribals by 5 cm.

Chest: 85 cms with expansion (There shall be no such requirement in case of female candidates)

Eye Sight :

Distant Vision (with or without glasses): 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.

Near Vision: 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.

Candidates should have passed their 10+2 or graduated from recognized university and which students doing their science in math are the best for this examination. Age limit for SI selection exam is 25 years, so, you can easily apply for this examination.
