You must careful about astronaut and aeronautical engineering.First you must score above 83%,must have power to crack IIT and then you can apply for 5 years BS programme. There is need to appply in IISER and ISAT.If you get IIT Kharagpur and score above 178 marks in JEE ADVANCED,then you can get aeronautical engineering and get astrophysics power and knowledge. You can go through IISER and after doing 5 years BS programme ,you can get job in ISRO.

Re: How to become an Astronaut after qualifying 12th?
hai,
To become an astronaut any adult man or woman in excellent physical condition who meets the basic qualifications can be selected to enter astronaut training.A bachelor's degree in math, physics, engineering, math, or science from a reputable school is required. Don't get distracted by college social life, your grades should be your number one concern. So first complete your graduation after go for astronaut. For mission specialist and pilot astronauts the minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or mathematics from an accredited institution. Three years of related experience must follow the degree, and an advanced degree is desirable. Pilot astronauts must have at least 1,000 hours of experience in Jet aircraft, and they need better vision than mission specialist. Physical Requirements: Height: 62-72 inches BP : 140/90 Eye Sight: 20/20 vision(corrective eye surgeries e.g lasik allowed) NASA selects astronauts from a diverse pool of applicants with a wide variety of backgrounds. From the thousands of applications received, only a few are chosen for the intensive Astronaut Candidate training program. |
