Re: How to become a district collector? I am a class 12th student
Becoming district collector means becoming Indian Administrative Services officer.
For this, you will have to crack the Civil Services examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. Stages of this exam are: 1. Preliminary exam 2. Mains exam. 3. Personal interview. Eligibility criteria: 1. Minimum of bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university. Final year candidates 2. The age limit for general candidates is 21-30 years. OBC get three years age relaxation and SC/ST candidates get five years age relaxation. There are four attempts for general candidates, seven for OBC candidates and no limit for SC/ST category candidates. So, first pursue your bachelor's degree then you can appear for this exam. You can prepare during your bachelor's degree for this exam as it is the toughest exam of India. For more details, visit www.upsc.gov.in. |
