You can apply in the Indian Air force for the post of pilot in Indian Air force after the 10+2 through National defence Academy examination. The National defence Academy examination is conducted by the Union public service commission twice in a year. To apply for the National defence academy examination you need the following eligibility criteria.

Education Qualification
For this examination you should be 10+2 pass and should have physics and maths at 10+2 as you are interested in Indian Air force.
Candidates appeared in the 10+2 exam or whose results are waiting are also eligible to apply for this examination.

Age Limit
For the National defence academy examination candidate age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

After clearing the National defence academy examination the candidates are called for the SSB interview. The candidates who qualify in the SSB interview are called for the medical and after that a merit list list will be made. Candidates whose name are in the merit list are called for the training and after the completion of your training you get the post of officer.

Yes you can join surely to IAF ( Indian Air Force ) after 12th. So I think at first complete it then join to IAF and it will be beneficial to you also. Besides this you have to get a good percentage in 12 th standard.

There are generally three branches and for these three branches there are three different eligible criteria.The three department are :

1. Flying Branch,
2. Technical Branch,
3. Ground Duty Branch.

The selection procedure are consist of two types which are :

1. AFCAT(Air Force Common Admission Test) and
2. Air Force Selection Boards(AFSB) .

To join in Indian Air force or any other defense services of india you have to clear an exam conducted by UPSC named as NDA(National Defense Academy exam). To appear in that exam you must fall under certain rules list.

They are
1. Your age must be above 16 1/2 years and below 19 years.
2. You must have completed your 12th std with physics, chemistry and maths as
the main subjects.
3. You must be a unmarried men.

This exam happens twice every year. The advertisement schedules are released in march and october every year.

You wants to become a pilot in Indian Air force then you have to qualify in CDS exam..

To appear in CDS exam you need to complete your graduation course first..

After completion of graduation course you can apply for CDS exam..

Eligibility for CDS exam:-

For Flying branch:-

1.Candidate can complete the graduation in any trade.. But must have had maths and physics in 12th.

2.Age should be in between 19-23 years.

3.Candidate must be unmarried male..

4.Candidate should be a citizen of India.

These are the eligibility criteria you need to fulfill.
