Hi,
I am a Civil Engineer but doing M.Tech in Environmental Engineering with an age of 23 years old. How can I become an SI in Maharashtra Police? Please help me because its my dream.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for SI post in Maharashtra Police being 23 years old M.Tech student.

Eligibility criteria for Sub inspector in Maharashtra police are as under :-

-The candidate should have passed Graduation in any discipline from a govt. recognized university.

-The candidate age should be upto 28 years for open category. There is relaxation in age upto 32 years for reserved categories.

-Selection process involves of Preliminary exam, Main exam and Interview.

-The candidates who successfully clears all the tests have to undergo 11 month training at Maharashtra Police Academy, Nashik.

-An SI in Maharashtra Police receives salary of Pay Scale : 5500-175-7000 .
