How to calculate percentage when we apply for government exams? Is it aggregate of all papers or without language paper?
I got 61% in B.Com when I calculate excluding languages but, if I calculate including languages my percentage is only 58%. However, I am eligible for applying exam only if I get more than 60%. So, please let me know my actual percentage.

Re: How to calculate percentage when we apply for government exams? Is it aggregate of all papers or without language paper?
In government job entrance exams, percentage hardly matters. In exams like Civil Services, SSC CGL, Banking exams, SPSC exam etc, candidates who have done bachelor's degree with passing percentage of marks can apply.
You will be selected depending upon your performance in entrance exam conducted for jobs. For all the above exams, bachelor's degree in any discipline is minimum academic qualification. Percentage is always aggregate of all papers. You can not exclude language paper. |
