Re: How to calculate aggregate marks for B.Com 3 years degree?
Aggregate marks stands for total marks which you have secured in your B.com ..i.e out of 2300 i.e(1500+800) , and you got 1492 i.e(561+931).
Which is 64.87 % in aggregate which you have secured in your graduation course. |

Re: How to calculate aggregate marks for B.Com 3 years degree?
This entirely depends on the university how they calculate their marks.
There are various methods depending upon the weightage given to the subjects in the respective years. Generally the formula to calculate the aggregate marks is given on the back of the mark sheets. If you apply for any job in future, they will have their own method to calculate the marks. So, don't worry much about it and concentrate on your performance. |

Re: How to calculate aggregate marks for B.Com 3 years degree?
To get actual aggregate marks of bachelor degree, only marks of honors papers are added.
In most of universities, there are 2 honors papers in 1st and 2nd year while 4 in final year. So, you need to add the marks of only these papers to get aggregate. Subsidiary papers have no role to play in aggregate marks of degree as students only need to secure pass marks in these papers to advance into next year. Although, subsidiary marks are available in the mark sheet of 1st and 2nd year. So, it is important to score better in subsidiary papers so that overall percentage of 1st and 2nd year is better. |

Re: How to calculate aggregate marks for B.Com 3 years degree?
That depends upon college.
In many colleges, they take 50% marks of 1st year, 75% marks of second year, and 100% marks of 3rd year. Then % is counted as: (Total Obtained marks*100) / Maximum Marks To give last year most weight, this is done. Other colleges just Adds all the subjects obtained marks giving equal weight too all year. |

Re: How to calculate aggregate marks for B.Com 3 years degree?
Every University have their own way to calculate aggregated marks, Most of the Universities calculate total marks of all the Hons paper and calculate all the mark you get from all the paper then decided and multiply the result with 100 to get the Parentage(marks get/Total marks)*100% = how much % you get in 3 years degree course.(you have got 65%)

Most of the common way is that they take 50%marks of 1st year , 75% of the 2nd year and 100% of marks of 3rd year. Then % is calculated as : (total obtained marks*100) /maximum marks this formula gives the weighted marks percentage. |

Re: How to calculate aggregate marks for B.Com 3 years degree?
Your total marks of 6 subjects divided by 6 will be the aggregate marks i.e. the percentage which you get on your report card. It doesn't matter how many subjects you have the percentage which you get on your 12th marksheet is final and you'll get admission on the basis of it only.

Re: How to calculate aggregate marks for B.Com 3 years degree?
To calculate the aggregate marks for a B.Com 3-year degree program, you need to follow the below steps:
Convert your marks in each subject into their respective grades. You can use the grading system provided by your university to convert the marks into grades. Calculate the total number of credit hours for each subject in the 3-year degree program. Multiply the grade obtained in each subject by the credit hours of that subject. Add up the total credit hours and total grade points obtained in all the subjects. Divide the total grade points obtained by the total credit hours to get the aggregate marks. For example, if you have obtained the following grades and credit hours in each subject: Subject 1 - Grade A - 4 credit hours Subject 2 - Grade B - 3 credit hours Subject 3 - Grade C - 3 credit hours Subject 4 - Grade A - 4 credit hours Then, you can calculate the aggregate marks as follows: Total credit hours = 4+3+3+4 = 14 Total grade points = (4x4) + (3x3) + (2x3) + (4x4) = 34 Aggregate marks = Total grade points / Total credit hours Aggregate marks = 34/14 = 2.43 (approx.) Therefore, your aggregate marks for the B.Com 3-year degree program would be 2.43. |
