Hello. im doing my 11 arts. even though i have taken arts i wanna join the Indian Airforce . is it possible? specially cause i am a girl.

after passing 12 .what should we have to do for appearing in airforce as a fighter piolt .iam a girl

I have completed 12th bt not by mats and physics.....bt i hav done 10th with maths,physics..den can i get admited in airforce plzz reply soon..

Sorry friend,

Girls are not allowed to join Indian Army or Indian Navy or Indian Air Force after 12th class.

You must have to complete your graduation first.

After graduation, girl candidate can apply for CDS Exam.



CDS stands for Combined Defence Service.

CDS Exam is conducted by UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission ) twice a year.

Eligibility Criteria for CDS Exam to join Indian Army:

>>The age limit of the candidate must be between 19 to 25 years.

*Note : There is no Permanent Commission for Female Candidate. This is Short Service Commission. You can only serve for 14 years.

>>Candidate must be Unmarried.

>>Candidate must be citizen of India.

>>Candidate must be Physically and Mentally fit.

The procedure of selection through CDS:

>>Written Exam
>>SSB Interview
>>Medical Test

I am sorry to say that After passing 12th with arts stream you are not eligible for joining Indian Air force.

For Girl those who want to join Indian Defence then they can apply after passing graduation with any stream.

After passing 12th girl are not eligible for Defence services.

For Girl:-
> For Indian Navy& Indian Air Force:- Pass graduation with Physics and Maths.
> For Indian Army:- Pass graduation with any stream.

After passing graduation you have to qualify the C.D.S exam.

COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES

C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

After passing graduation with any stream from recognized university.

Age limit in C.D.S:-
> For Indian Navy:- 19-22 year
> For Indian Air Force:- 19-23 year
> For Indian Navy:- 19-24 Year.

There are three stage of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam
