CID stands for (Criminal Investigation Department). This Entrance Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission for every year.

So, If your interested to become a CID Officer then you have to appear in Civil Service Entrance Examination which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

Eligibility Criteria:-

For Constable Post:-

Educational Qualification:- Applicant should be complete 12th standard or equivalent qualification from recognized university.

Age Limit:- Applicant age should be minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years and relaxation will be applicable for SC/ST and OBC candidates.

For Sub-Inspector & Officer Level Posts:-

Educational Qualification:- Applicant should be complete Graduation course in any discipline from recognized university and Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this course.

Age limit:- Applicant age should be minimum 21 years to 30 years and relaxation will be applicable for SC/ST and OBC category candidates.

The Selection Procedure for this entrance examination is based on written examination, Physical Test and Interview.
