How can I become a CID officer by science(PCM)?


How can i become cid officer and how it can be....please give me the details

To join CID you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC (Staff selection commission)board every year.

Eligibility:
Completed any degree with recognized university.............
Age :20-27 years

Eye sight:
6/6 one 6/9 another side

Physical Standards:
chest 76cms.
height 165cms........men
height 155cms......women

This exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.

Various CID Branches:-
  • State Crime Investigation Bureau
  • Finger Print Bureau and
  • Scientific Section.

:::: How To Apply ::::

Since, you have just completed your 12th with the PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) and want to apply for the CID Exam then you can not apply for this with this educational Qualification......

If you are wishing to become eligible for this exam then you have to first of all you have to get admission in any bachelor course of your Interested filed in your case like Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) OR Engineering etc.....

Complete this Bachelor Degree then you are surely applicable to apply for the CID Examination......

The Basic Requirement is At least bachelor degree with 55% from any recognized Universities in any discipline can apply for it......

You have to face the Civil Service Examination and have to crack this exam for becoming CID Officer......

Age Criteria:-
  • Minimum age should be at least 20 years.
  • Upper age should not exists 25 years.
Relaxation on age:-

## Relaxation is provided for the Reserved category candidate as per government rule......

Selection Process:
  1. Written Test
  2. Interview
  3. Physical Fitness test
