So far my knowledge you have to give exam for Assistant loco pilot.

Educational Qualification

Matriculation pass plus ITI in specified trades/Act Apprenticeship or Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronics/ Automobile Engineering in lieu of ITI. Specified ITI Trades are: (a) Fitter (b) Electrician (c) Instrument Mechanics (d) Mill-Wright/Maintenance Mechanic (e) Mechanic Radio & Television (f) Electronics Mechanic (g) Mechanic Motor Vehicle (h) Wireman (i) Tractor Mechanic (j) Armature & Coil Winder (k) Mechanic Diesel (l) Heat Engine (m) Turner (n) Machinist (o) Refrigeration & AC Mechanic.

Age :--

18-30 Years

Selection Procedure :--

There is three stages ie.

1. Single Stage Written/Online Examination

2. Aptitude Test.

3. Verification of Documents

You have to qualify all the stages to become a assistant locopilot

-->> MEDICAL CHEEK UP DETAILS:

1.The eye sight is 6/6.
2.Candidate should not have far visibility

12th pass candidate are eligible for Loco pilot

Loco Pilot Exam syllabus

General Awareness,
Arithmetic,
General Intelligence and reasoning,
General Science and Relevant Technical ability

Loco Pilot Exam would have a only a single paper of 1½ hours duration.

The Written paper of Exam would have only objective type questions.

There will be a total no. of 120 objective type questions with multiple answers.

-->you must complete your minimum 10th class.
-->You need to complete ITI in any specific trade to apply for this post.
-->Minimum age limit required for this post is 18 years.
--> Maximum age limit for this position is 30 years.
--> Age relaxation is given for special categories like SC/ST/OBC etc.
-->If you have completed Diploma in engineering are also eligible for this post.
-->RRB is the qualifying examination which you need to appear for this post.

You cannot directly become a Loco Pilot,Before becoming a Loco Pilot you need to be a Assistant Loco Pilot.

For that you need to write the entrance exam for Assistant Loco Pilot.

Name of Post: Assistant Loco Pilot.

Pay Scale :Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay 1900.

Selection Procedure : Written Test and Aptitude test.

Minimum Educational Qualification: 10+2 with ITI on specific trades, OR
Diploma in Engineering.(candidates with Higher technical education in respective subjects are eligible like B.E. and B.tech etc. )

Age limit : An candidate’s age must be between 18 years to 30 years as on 1/1/2011(Age relaxations are applicable as per Govt. rules).

Candidate Should Have 6/6 eye sight,Candidate should not have far visibility


Application Fee for Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment: Rs. 40/- Exam fee could be paid via DD or Indian Postal Order which is available at All Head Post offices in India.
