Right now you're completing your bachelor course in science with the specialisation in mathematics. Which means after completion of the course you'll be an honours graduate in the respective subject. You have to achieve a master's degree i.e MSc in mathematics thereafter in order to appear in the CSC (college service commission) examination and interview which will let you become a teacher in a college. Also, you have to be eligible for lectureship in a college by appearing in NET examination in mathematics which is conducted two times in a year. If you achieve a JRF In NET you're further eligible for a PHD degree.

First thing I would like to let you know is that for becoming an assistant professor/ lecturer in any recognized university, you need to qualify entrance examinations like NET/SET/SLET ( i.e; National/ State Eligibility Test ).

Further, for appearing in these examinations, you are required to have completed your master degree course in your concerned paper with at least 55% marks from a recognized university. Marks relaxation of 5% is allowed for reserved category candidates.

So, being a student of B.Sc in Mathematics degree course, for becoming a professor you first need to complete your master degree course i.e; M.Sc. in Mathematics ( with the minimum marks required as mentioned above ) and then you need to clear entrance examinations like NET/SET/SLET for your recruitment as a professor.

For more details regarding NET, you can refer to the link www.cbsenet.nic.in while for details regarding different State SETs you can log on to their respective official website.
