I am a b.a history 2nd year student in Chennai Loyola college.My ambition is to become a sub inspector. Now what i can do to acheave my goal?...

One can become Sub Inspector by appearing in the exam conducted by the Police recruitment department of the concerned state or through the SSC (Staff Selection Commission) exam .

The eligibility criteria required to become Sub Inspector are as under :-

-The candidate should have citizenship of India.

-The candidate should have passed Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university .

-The candidate age limit to apply for the post should be from 20 years to 25 years .There will be relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category as per Governments Rules.

Selection of candidates are carried out on the basis of following test :

Written Exam,

Physical Test,

Medical Test,

Document verification, and

Interview .
