How to be a Sub-Inspector or Inspector in Jharkhand, Bihar or UP?


I am appearing BCA this year. I want to be an Inspector in Jharkhand, Bihar or UP. What should I to do to be a Inspector or Sub-Inspector?

Yes, you can become sub inspector of bihar, u.p, jharkhand. If you satisfy the below eligibilities.
Age limit: assitant sub inspector in CISF 20-25YRS. intelligence officer in NCB IS 20-27 YRS. relaxation for sc/st 5yrs, bc 3yrs .
Eligibility for sub inspector in bihar:
education qualification - graduation from recognised university.
Age limit:21 to 33 years, physical standards, mental fitness, eye sight, chest expansion, are required.

The eligibility criteria to become a Sub Inspector are as under:-

-The candidate should be an Indian.

-The minimum qualification required to apply for the post is Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

-The age should be in between 21 years to 27 years . Relaxation in upper age limit as per the Govt. rules .

-The physical standards requirement to apply for the Sub Inspector post are

*Height-

**For male candidate-170 cm.

**For female candidate-157 cm.

Relaxation in height for hill men and tribal is given by 5 cm.

*Chest: 85 cm with expansion (There will be no such requirement in case of female candidates)

For Male candidates:

100 meter race in 16 seconds

1.6 Km race in 6.5 minutes

Long Jump : 3.65 meter in 3 chances

High Jump : 1.2 meter in 3 chances

Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 meter in 3 chances

For Female candidates :

100 meter race in 18 seconds

800 meter race in 4 minutes

Long Jump: 2.7 meter (9 feet) in 3 chances

High Jump: 0.9 meter (3 feet) in 3 chances

-The candidate should not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes.

-The candidate should possess high colour vision for the post of Sub-Inspector and Eye-sight required (with or without glasses) is as under:

Eye Sight :

**Distant vision: 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.

**Near vision: 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.


-The selection process consists of

*Written exam and

*Physical test.


-The written exam is for

*General Knowledge

*General Awareness

*Reasoning Ability

*Maths.

I have completed my b.sc in food technology and i want to become a food inspector.
May i know how to apply for food inspector? How should i prepare for food inspector??
