First I want to tell you that Mba is not a course which can be done by a 10th passed student, any one who want to do MBA he must need to have minimum bachelor degree as well good educational qualification. If you are planning to do MBA you have long way to go first you need to clear +0 exam then you should have a bachelor degree with minimum 50% marks. Than you decide to MBA via regular Institutions & Part time MBA. |

Since MBA is a post graduate course for a period of 2 years, so for this first YOU have to pass class 12 and then be a graduate.
CAT(common admission test) is the exam which you have to write after your graduation or in the final year of graduation to get admission in a b-school for MBA course in india. Through this exam you get into the Best management colleges in india "the IIMs". Though you can start preparing for CAT nowonwards. Re: How can I do MBA after passing 10th class?
Dear pal,
for doing masters in business administration the minimum academic requirement is bachelor degree from any stream For admitting aspirants into the MBA course entrance exam like CAT, TANCET, etc are conducted state level and national level. As you have completed your 10 standard you are not eligible to appear for the exam. You need to go a long way to do your course. First you need to do your higher secondary course which include science and commerce course . Choose the course in which you have your interest as you are wishing to do MBA it will be good if you choose commerce. Nothing is wrong in choosing science group. Followed by which you need to do your bachelor degree course. You have a wide options in choosing if you have opt science in higher secondary you can do engineering , other courses like bsc, bca etc commerce field course are ba, bba, b.com etc choose the field in which you have your interest and then you can do your MBA COURSE. |

Re: How can I do MBA after passing 10th class?
Hello friend,
MBA stands for Masters of Business Administration, which obviously is a post graduate degree and to pursue the course, you must have qualified bachelors degree examination in any stream. Now, since you have qualified secondary examination, the very first thing you need to do is to pursue +2 level of study in the stream of your interest and follow it by a bachelors degree program. If you are very much sure to pursue MBA in your future, I would suggest you to select commerce at +2 level of study and BBA as your bachelors degree program. Pursuing BBA will prove to be very helpful while doing the MBA. It gives a good and strong foundation of the subject. However, it is not mandatory to go for BBA, it will definitely be a better choice before pursuing MBA. |

I am sorry about this, but to do an MBA, your minimum qualification should be a graduate in any discipline, with minumum 60% marks in that. And 60% in 10th and 12th.
CAT is the most reputated exam for MBA, but this is the eligibility ccriteria for that. You cannot be a 10 pass + MBA. Extent your study further to 10+2, and then graduation. |

Re: How can I do MBA after passing 10th class?
You are too young to think about MBA course. Master of Business Administration is 2 years long post graduation course. Since you have only passed 10th as for now, I would suggest that you first finish your school by completing 12th standard.
Now if you have made up your mind about doing MBA in the future. It would be better to decide which field you will like to pursue. MBA can be done in various fields and therefore candidate should decide on future courses like 12th and graduation on this basis. Some of the streams of MBA are: Management Human Resources Finance Economics IT Healthcare Banking Retail Management Airport Management As you can see above are some of the streams for MBA. If you wish to become economists then you should take either Economics or Maths as core subject in graduation. Follow it with MBA in Economics. With a B.Com degree you can pursue MBA in Finance or Banking. After B.Sc in Computer Science/IT I will recommend doing MBA in IT. Although you don't exactly need to follow the pattern I have suggested. Admission Process You won't get admission for MBA until or unless you have finished graduation. After completing graduation you will have the option to pick a entrance exam from long list. However you don't need to be confused. The most popular entrance exam for MBA happens to be CAT. Common Admission Test (CAT) Those who want admission in Indian Institute of Management will have to appear for CAT exam. IIMs are the top institutes in India for MBA. The best institute for MBA happens to be IIM Ahmedabad. Eligibility 1. A graduation degree in any stream. 2. Minimum of 50 percent marks in graduation. 3. There is 5 percent relaxation for SC/ST. If you meet the above requirements then feel free to apply for the Common Admission Test. Apart from IIMs there are several other reputed universities that also accept the CAT score. Management Aptitude Test (MAT) MAT is generally preferred by candidates who have scored low marks in graduation. Those who can't make the cut for Common Admission Test or Xavier Admission Test have no other option but to appear for MAT. There are several colleges across the country that actually accepts the MAT score. Eligibility 1. A graduation degree in required. Percentage is not relevant for MAT. You can also appear for XAT exam which offers admission in some reputed universities. Those who want admission in foreign universities must appear for GMAT. |

Re: How can I do MBA after passing 10th class?
•) In order to post graduation in management you need to be a graduate first. Then you will be eligible to sit for the various MBA entrance examinations one gives to attain the degree from several government and private MBA institutes. Full form of MBA is Masters in Business Administration and the duration of this course is two years. Students from any discipline can pursue this course. •) Following are some of the examinations you can look forward to: CAT (for IIMs), MAT (AIMA), XAT (XLRI), FMS, JMET (IITs & IISc), OPENMAT (IGNOU) and so on. Of all the exams mentioned CAT is the most popular one. On cracking this exam you will get to study in the IIMs which are known for its top class faculty members and excellent placement records. •) For different MBA Entrance exams the marks to attain at graduation level is different. For giving CAT you need to get minimum 50% of marks at graduation level. Full form of CAT is Common Admission Test and this exam is conducted by the IIMs in turn. Every year this exam is conducted in November. •) If you fail to secure 50% of marks at graduation level then also you can go ahead and sit for the MAT exam where only pass marks would do. All India Management Association (AIMA) conducts this exam for four times every year. •) Just like MAT even for XAT you just need a bachelor's degree. So that means even if you have less than 50% of marks at graduation level you will still be considered for this exam. Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) conducts this exam for those students who wants to get in XLRI. With this score you can also apply in over 100 institutes all over India. The exam takes place in January. •) Now if you talk about the basic difference between CAT and MAT then i will say it is wiser to go for CAT because the CAT based colleges are higher in rankings. For brighter future you should always aim high and therefore at graduation level choose a subject which you know you can handle well to get 50% of marks or more. •) In CAT the weightage is not only given to written exam but there is interview session and group discussion round as well. Based on how you perform in the written test you will be called for the GD and PI round. The final decision will be based on the overall performance of yours in the three rounds of selection. The top institutes like IIM also gives special importance to your overall academic background and job experience (if any). |
