I'am Himanshu singh . I scored 85% in 10th class.My aim is to joined Indian Army.Now i'am in 11th class.I want to something for my country.So it is possible to join Indian Army after passing 10th class ?If possible so please guide me ways to join it.

Your decision to serve the country is appreciable. You can join Army after 12th. Unmarried male candidates can join NDA by qualifying NDA. Your age must fall anywhere between 16 ½ and 19 years to apply. You can start preparing for the exam now as it’s a highly competitive exam. Detailed information can be collected from NDA exam notification issued by UPSC.

You have completed your 10th class securing 85% marks now I ask you to complete your 12th class successfully to join in Indian Army wing through NDA.

NDA(National Defence Academy)entrance examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

You can apply if your age remain within 16.5 years to 19 years.

You must be an Unmarried Indian Male .

Your eye sight must be normal also free from color blindness.

It is nice to see your eagerness toward the nation.But it is sorry to inform you that you can not join the Indian Army just after completing your 10th.

For getting into the Indian Army , you have to appear in the NDA entrance exam.This exam is conducted twice in a year by the Upsc.

The eligibility criteria for this exam is ,to have a successfully passed out in class 12th in any stream from a recognised board with good percentages. The age of appearing students must be lie in between 16.5 years to 19 years to be eligible for this exam.


As you have completed your class 10th and now studying in the 11th class so you have to complete your class 12th.You can also appear in this exam in your 12th class year if your age lies in between 16.5 -19.

Definately you are eligible to get admission into Indian Army

eligibility-

passed the 10th exam with 60% marks.

Age less than 18-20 years.

Age relaxation for SC candidates.

you have to appear the NDA entrance exam to get admission into Army.

Note-
keep hard work to achieving the success.

The Indian army issue the advertise for filling vacancy.you can fill the form and after that they organise a camp in the any district of the state .there will be take a physical test of candidate.physical test may be in 10 kilomitre race or high jump long jump and more other physical activities .after the selection you may be call for training and it will be about six months.After the successful training you can posted any location army in India.

You can join Indian Army as a soldier after 10th class. If you are interested to join Indian Army as a Soldier then you will have to participate in the open rally. The rallies are conducted by the Indian Army every year. You can check the notification in your local news paper or nearest BRO or ARO office. But to participate in the open rallies is not an easy task. You will have to improve your stamina. You will have to improve your running. There are three stages in the open rallies.

^ Physical fitness test: It contain 1 mile race to be completed before 06:00 minutes. Physical measurements like Height, weight chest are conducted in this test.

^ If you pass the Physical test then you are eligible for the medical exam. Full body medical check up contained in this field.

^ After medical you will be called for the written exam. The written exam contain the question related to the General knowledge, English, Math, Science.
