Getting admission in First Year B.Com is an easy task.

If you have studied through Commerce stream from 10th onwards, then you can get admission by answering questions that are asked in the entrance exam.

However, very few universities and institutes conduct entrance exam for admitting students for B.Com courses in their college.

While most of the universities grant admission directly on the basis of marks obtained by the student in their High School and Intermediate.

You can get admission in F.Y.B.Com if you have passed class 12th with English medium board. Admission to F.Y.B.Com in many universities are done strictly based on merit where reservation of seats is done as follows:
ST: 7%
SC:13%
D.T (A): 3%
N.T(C): 3.5%
OBC+SBC: 19%

** I will prefer you to get admission in Mumbai University where admission is done on merit basis only.
