I am currently pursuing B-COM and have not done maths in the 12th, however i have done maths in FYBCOM and have scored 80% in it. I am also doing a diploma course in software engineering from NIIT (GNIIT). Am i eligible for applying for MCA after graduation?

you can do mca from punjab tec uni. . Which do not demand math.

As per the rules it is a must for the candidates to have pursued maths in 12th standard. Since you have not pursued in 12th you are not eligible. Also NIIT certificate cannot be used to secure admission in any institute. It can be used in the job front.

As you did not had Math as a cource in 12th.
thats why you are not elligible for MCA.
so better you try for another way for your carrer.

Is there any math exam I can give which can be accepted as a substitute for not doing math in the 12th?
The fact of the matter is that I am good at math but I had dropped it in the 12th because I wanted to learn about shares in SP.I don't want to do anything but MCA, and am prepared to give any exam for it

Someone who is currently doing MCA told me that I can do MCA by clearing a maths paper offered by Mumbai University.Can you plz give me some details regarding the same

I think you are eligible for doing MCA....in some colleges but not for all colleges ....
Some colleges demand for maths in 12th to doing MCA....

my daughter passed 12th exam . From 1 to 10th standared she study in marathi medium. But after passing the 10th exam , she change the medim from marathi to in english medium. Now he complete 12th exam in english medium. But she is cnfusng about subject which is option subject. Optional subjectis maths & statics or computer consumption programming. Pl advise he which subject is better
