i am 21 years old n i have got 43% in b.com so how i can get addmission i llb? i have some other certificates so with the help of those certificate are also beneficial to me to get addmision in llb

LLB which means Bachelor of Laws is under graduate degree in law. LLB is among the most popular courses in India. And its a good thing because in India there is a huge shortage of lawyers considering the number of cases going around. Lawyers are very essential for legal system to help common man get justice.

There are basically two types of LLB courses. First one is BA LLB, it is a 5 years long LLB course which also includes the subjects of arts. Since it is important to do under graduate course for LLB, the Bar Council of India started to offer this five years long course which would save one year of students. You can take admission for this course right after 10+2 instead of doing under graduate course.

The second option is LLB 3 years for which you need a under graduate degree. There is no difference between the 2 courses apart from the duration and the fact that by opting for 5 years LLB course, you can save 1 year.

Now to get admission in a Law school for LLB course in India, students are required to appear in a entrance exam called CLAT.


ELIGIBILITY

For the 5 year BA LLB course, candidate should be 10+2 pass from a recognised board.

General category candidates need to secure 50 percent in 12th board.

While candidates belonging to SC/ST are required to score 45 percent in 12 board.

Only candidates who have completed 12th are eligible to appear for CLAT since you need to submit proof at the time of admission.

Age Criteria:

General and OBC Candidates - 20 years

SC/ST candidates - 22 years



For 3 years LLB course admission candidate should have bachelors degree in any stream.

You should have secure at least 45 percent marks in the under graduate course.

SC/ST candidates are required to secure 40 percent marks in graduation course.

For applying LLB a candidate require following eligibility:

-a candidate should have completed their 12th with atleast 50% for general and obc category.
For sc/st student 45%.

-for general and obc student upper age limit should not exist then 20 years and 22 years for sc/st student.
