How can I join IAS exam after passing B.Tech? I am a B.Tech holder
i am b.tech holder, 2year student from m.e branch please tell me the most suitable subject i.a.s exam after b.tech

You need to qualify civil services examination to join IAS. Bachelor degree holders below the age of 30 years can apply. Online applications can be submitted through the website of UPSC. Prelims and mains exam is conducted for selection. For mains you can select one optional and language subject. It is can be selected from the list of subjects given under UPSC website.

IAS means Indian Administrative Services and is basically meant for those aspiring candidates who have strong dedication towards the country. India holds a UPSC examination every year and on the basis of this examination a number of IAS officers are recruitment. Eligibility Criteria :- A.)Educational Qualification:- The minimum qualification required for appearing the competitive examination is Graduation. Many professionals like Engineers, Doctors, persons with Ph.d qualifications are competing for UPSC. B.)Age Factor:- 1.> For general category :- 21-30 years and can attempt 4 times. 2.>For SC/ST :- 21-35 years ,and there is no limitation . 3.> For the OBC:- 21-33 years and can attempt 7 times. Paper Pattern for IAS exam :- 1) General-Studies paper carries 150 marks 2) Optional paper carries 150 marks. Instead of one compulsory paper of General Studies and one Optional paper, both the papers shall be compulsory. |

IAS (Indian Administrative service) is conducted by UPSC every year.It is the most prestigious post of civil service. Educational qualification: A bachelor degree holder can eligible to apply for the IAS exam. B.tech degree holders are also eligible for IAS. After B.tech the candidate has to procure the application form along with the information brochure from any of the post office/Head post office spread all over the country & apply for the exam according to the rule & regulations. The exam devided in to 3 parts: 1.
