Yeah sure, you can join IMA(Indian Military Academy) i.e. Indian Army after completing 12th standard from commerce stream.
You can join Indian Army(IMA) after 12th only through NDA(National Defence Academy). You have to appear in NDA
entrance examination conducted by UPSC twice in a year as..

NDA-I
NDA-II

Note:- Only Unmarried Male candidate appear in NDA Examination.


Academic Qualification for NDA:- You should have completed 12th standard in any stream from recognized university/board.
If you have appeared/appearing in 12th standard then you are also eligible to appear in this examination.


AGE limit for NDA:- Your Age should be with in 16.5 to 19 years.


Nationality:- Should be an Indian citizen.


Physical standard for Indian Army:-






Procedure to apply for NDA Exam:

You may apply for NDA exam in two ways..

1. Online:- You can apply through Internet by using this link(http://www.upsconline.nic.in)

2. Offline:- By using Application Form available at Head post of your Town/city.



Important Dates for NDA Exam:

• Date of Notification: 05/05/2012
  
• Last Date for Receipt of Application: 04/06/2012
  
• Date of Commencement of Exam: 19/08/2012
