NDA Stands for National Defence Academy Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year .

Indian Air force :-

You should have a completed 12th Board exam with Physics and Mathematics as subject from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and final year of HSC may also eligible to apply . If you are completed 12th exam with Physics and mathematics then you are eligible .But if you are not completed then you are not eligible to apply .

You should have attained the age of 16 1/2 years and must not have attained the age of 19 years at the time of appearing for this examination and there is no upper age limits for reserved categories and According to the notification Unmarried male candidates are born not earlier than 2nd July, 1994 and not later than 1st January , 1997 are eligible .

After crossing your age is 16 1/2 then you are eligible to apply for Air force .

one can apply for NDA Exam conducted by UPSC twice every year.for the three wings namely::::

--Indian army
--Indian airforce
--Indian navy

now,
you are 16 year old hence you are not eligible as per as the age criteria is concerned.hence you can only apply after completing 16.5 years.so,you can apply NDA-1 of next year...

Eligibility criteria

~the candidate should have passed the Class XII from a recognized university.
~age should be more than 16.5 but less than or equal to 19
~candidates having physics +maths can apply for all wings of indian defense forces
~candidates not having physics +maths can only apply for army wing.
~medical fitness is required..

so,

if you satisfy all the above criteria then you are eligible for NDA and if you have physics +maths then you can apply for all wings of indian defense forces.....

You can join the air force first you can crack the NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Service. This exam conducted by the union public service commission twice in a year.

UPSC conduct this exam twice in a year.

Iam sorry to say this you are not eligible for Indian airforce because at an age of 16 years you are not eligible for Indian airforce, the minimum age limit to apply Indian airforce is 16.5 years.

There are several groups under Indian air force.

To apply for Group X

your minimum age should be 17 - 22 Years and minimum qualification required is Candidates should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 with pass marks in Mathematics and Physics with a minimum of 50% marks in overall aggregate or Should have passed a 3 year Diploma course in Engineering. Then you will be eligible for the technical trades.

To apply for group "Y"

one needs to be between 17 and 22 years and minimum qualification required is Candidates should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 with science, arts, commerce subjects or equivalent vocational courses with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Then you will be eligible for all group Y trades except the musical trade.

To be eligible for the musical trade of group y

you have to be between 17 and 25 years and minimum qualification required is Passed Matriculation/ 10th class passed or equivalent with minimum pass marks from any Govt recognized school/Boards and should be proficient in playing one of the musical instrument.
