>> Eligibility for CPMT entrance exam

- Candidate should passed 12th recognized board.

- 12th science passed in minimum 50% in general category and 10% relaxation SC/ST & OBC candidates.

- Candidate should be in an indian.


>> Age limit

- Minimum candidate age is 17 years.



>> Exam pattern

- paper 1 = Biology and Zoology question.
- paper 2 = Chemistry and physics question.

CPMT Stands Combined Pre Medical Test

This exam admission into MBBS , BDS , BAMS & BUMS courses .

Eligibility :

The candidate should be a citizen of India .

Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with min of 50% aggregate with physics , Chemistry & Biology , Zoology as compulsory subjects from a recognized university .

Dear,

CPMT or UPCPMTis an acronym for Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test (UPCPMT). It is conducted by Directorate of Medical Education & Training, UP. This exam is conducted for giving admission to undergraduate medical courses like:
  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
  • Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
  • Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)
  • Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
  • Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS)
in medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh.

This exam consists of 200 objective type questions from following subjects:
  • Zoology
  • botany
  • Physics
  • Chemistry

Eligibility criteria to write this exam are:
  1. You should have passed 12th with biology,physics,chemistry and maths.OR
  2. You must have passed B.Sc. examination with two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology).
  3. Your age should be betwenn 18 to 25 years.
Cracking CPMT is a bit tough but if you have a strong hold over your basic concepts in physics, biology, and chemistry its not so tough. To prepare for you basic concept you need to follow your NCERT books. Go through it deeply word to word and solve every question of it.
To qualify this exam you must have deep knowledge of all the subjects.You must practice solving Physics problems daily. Also don't forget to go through and solve last 10 year exam papers.
For proper guidance and practise tests you an join a good coaoching center. But don't rely too much on them, Give full time to self study also. For that you can follow below mentioned books:
