TANCET Stands for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Examination and this examination is conducted by Anna University every year for admission to M.E/M.Tech/M.Plan/M.Arch/M.C.A/M.B.A courses.

The candidates can register for the entrance examination in two modes :-

1)Spot Registration
2)Internet Registration

Spot Registration :-

Candidates can appear in person at the Co-ordinating Centres shown under item 8 with the following documents:

• Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet
• Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 years Diploma certificate
• Cash (or) Demand Draft.
• The SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu have to produce a copy of the permanent community certificate (card format) for availing fee concession.

Internet Registration :-

Candidates can register through internet by filling-up the application form, downloading it and send it to the address shown under item 10 with the following enclosed :-

• Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet
• Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 years Diploma certificate
• Demand Draft.
• An attested copy of the permanent community certificate (card format) issued by the competent authority of Government of Tamilnadu (for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu).

• Commencement of Registration / Registration through Internet :- 01.02.2012
• Last date for Registration at co-ordinating centres and Registration through Internet :- 23.02.2012
• Last date for Registration at Chennai Centre and receipt of completed application (registered through Internet) :- 25.02.2012
• Date of M.B.A :- 31.03.2012 F.N.
• Date of M.C.A :- 31.03.2012 A.N.
• Date of M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan :- 01.04.2012 F.N.
