How can we join Indian Army as a Cadet after BA and B.Ed?
Hi, I have completed my BA followed by B.Ed and now I wish to join Indian Army as a Cadet or any post or designation am I eligible for. How can I proceed with this? Am I even eligible for Cadet or not? Further, I have heard that only candidates from Science background are eligible. Is it true?

Those who want to join Indian Army after bachelor's degree have to take Combined Defence Service Exam
The age of applicant must be between 19 to 24 years Graduation must be from a recognised university or institution. There are 2 ways to enter Indian Army By giving specific entrance exam By direct entry through recruitment rallies Only unmarried candidate between the age of 16 to 19 who have completed their 12th with physics, chemistry and maths with an aggregate of 70% can apply for TES exam For Permanent Commission , one has to join NDA or Indian Military Academy Clear UPSC exam and a 5 day Service Selection Board Interview. Pass medicals and you are in NDA. |
