Sir/Mam, I am 12th science student right now, can 12th science join Indian Army after completing 12th with 50%, what is the minimum or maximum height for Indian Army, as I am eager to join Indian Army and I hope you could kindly solve out my question

NDA ( National Defence Academy ) and examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

The examination is conducted for recruitment of officers in defence service. The eligibility to appear in examination is that candidate must have passed or pursuing in 12th from a recognised board.

The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years and only male candidates are eligible to appear in examination.

The examination is conducted in two stages. The required minimum height is 157 cm.

Candidates can also apply for Clercial post after qualifying in various rally recruitment examination conducted by Indian Army.

Yes you are certainly eligible to join Indian Army as a commissioned officer or soldier clerk or tradesmen having completed your Class 12th with 50% marks on the basis of your educational qualification.

Further as far as you are concerned about the minimum height requirement for joining Indian Army then it is 152 cm for the officer's post where as it is 170 cm for the posts of tradesmen and soldier clerk. Further there can be slight deviation in height requirement as per the age and weight of candidate.
