i want to change my b tech college in 2nd year. that means i want to join my 3rd year b tech in another college because my father had got transfered to hyderabad, so is there any possiblity to do so. plz help.

as u r in the second yr of course ,so to change the college from one college to another is a bit hectic work,as its not too simple to change the college.it can only be done on the consent of the two colleges i.e mutual understanding of two colleges.
u can only be able to change the college on health basis.u have to site reasons on the basis of ur health ,then only u will be able to change the college

Does the new college give credit for the first year done in another college?
Is a transfer from the first college possible?
These are questions specific to institutes and decisions are taken on individual basis in most institutes. Therefore the best way to proceed is to identify a college that you want to move to. Talk to the admissions office if they will accept you. In case they are ready, ask your college for a transfer certificate and see what formalities are needed to get this done. See if you are a politechnic student that means you have not Done 12th from Any autherised Board and then You have applied for B.tech,then it will easier for you to change the college.but if you have not then you need an application from the existing college and transfer certificate to change the college.now it depends upon Hyderabad college thet they take you are not . but it should work.try it.

reason which they thought to
be essential .
and than you will be called by
the authoritied of the former
one .
you also have to obtain the
m.c. to get into new one .

Yes its possible to change the college. Some college have a criteria wherein a study should should top their first year exams of engineering.

The 2nd criteria is that there should be some seat available for exchange. You can even ask the student of the branch you want to exchange with

There are also some colleges which dont allow the change but you can always find this out with your college authorities

Yes, you can change your college on the medical basis or due to transfer of your father, ask the admission incharge of your college.

ITS REALLY A HECTIC WORK TO CHANGE YOUR COLLENGE WHEN YOU ARE IN YOUR 2nd year.there is extremely low possibility of changing your college.

but it can be done if your college and the college in which you wish to have admission have some some mutual understanding and you have to give very valuable reasons for changing your college.It can be done on health basis background..........so you can try your best but do everything systematically..

i think you can not change your college in second year. only after first year college change is possible.


you should contact with your university they will provide you exact information about change of college after second.


for changing college after first year student should have good academic qualification and there should be availability of seat in which institution he/she want to change. if both the colleges are under one university then only change of college possible. it's not possible to change with other university.


in this situation if you are unable to change your college then i think best option is to stay in hostel of the college although father will transferred. after completion of your study join with your family.

university allows it .you can change it only if you are in 2nd year Ist sem.if you are in

2nd sem then sorry to say but you can not change your branch.

procedure to change the college ::

1.you have to take permission from your principal to change of college

2.you have to apply for the college you want to join but that should come other
same university.

3.based on the 1st year marks the colleges make merit and if the seat is available
in a branch you have applied then you will definitely get admission to that college

4.you can also get admission in different branch other then what you have got previous

There is little scope for changing college in BTECH level,however if you have got strong reason then you surely can .But father getting transferred doesn't seem to work out as a cause to change college .

can i change my college after completion of 2nd year. because my college has no campus placements.is it possible

i,am studying in BE ii yr IT branch. My college not so good having no proper infrastructure and teaching staff. furthermore the college is too long from my residence and it takes almost 1 half hour time to reach the college. This way I am wasting just 3 to 4 hrs just in travelling. can I change the college!. nearby at half hrs distance there are quite a good 2 -3 colleges from my residence

In new college you have to take admission under management quota and need to pay fee to your old college
