How to check whether my college is AICTE or UGC approved? Can you please guide me with the minimum information which would help me to verify the same? Hope that I will get the answer from here soon as possible for me to proceed. Thank you!

The technical universities and colleges need to get the affiliation of the AICTE.

The other general institutes need to be registered with the UGC.

So, to verify the affiliation, you need to find out the type of the university you want to verify and go to the respective website depending on the type of the university.

Go to the list of the affiliated college lists and download the file.

Here you will get the names of the colleges affiliated to that commission. You can find the name of your college.
