I am 45 I want to do 3 years LLb course in distance education from Hyderabad which of the universities are offering this from hyderabad

First thing you should know is that LLB is not offered through distance education. As per the guidelines of the Bar Council of India, LLB can only be offered through regular mode. However some universities do offer law degree through distance education.

But the law degree offered through distance education is not valid as per Bar Council of India. You will not be allowed to practice in the court as lawyer with that degree. You can apply for distance education degree only to show off or perhaps work as legal advisor.

In your case, I am sorry to say but you can not even apply for LLB through regular mode. The reason for that is your age. You are 45 years old, but the maximum age to apply for LLB regular is 30 years for general and 35 years for SC/ST candidates.

That itself rules out any possibility of applying for the LLB course. Unfortunately there is no way about the age limit. You simply can not apply for LLB course of 3 years. I would recommend that you select some other course.


Eligibility

1. A graduation degree course in any discipline.

2. At least 45 percent marks in graduation course.

3. SC/ST need minimum of 40 percent marks.

4. Age limit for LLB is 30 years.

5. There is 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

6. The criteria for OBC is same as General students.

I have completed my graduation in 2007 with 39.6 percent now i am 30. can I get chance for 3years LLB degree

I am a student of company secretary and I want to do a 3 year LLB. It not possible for me to do a regular course now.So I want to do it from distance education. I understand that I will not able to practice. But that's ok. All I need to know that by doing a LLB through distance, will it help me in my cv and also will it qualify me to join any LPO in future. Generally there is two ways to do the LLB course.

First after the 10+2,the eligibility for this is:

>> You must have scored at least 50% in 10+2 from any stream.

>> Your age should not exceed 20 years.

>> You have to qualify for the CLAT examinations.

>> CLAT stands for common law admission test.

>> The duration of this LLB course is five years.

After qualifying this examination with good marks ,you are eligible to get admission in good colleges which offers this course.


Second is doing LLB after graduation.

>> The duration for this LLB is only 3 years.

>> Grdauation in any stream from a recognised university in any stream.

I have few questions where I need some clarity,
I am 27 years old and an B.E., Graduate with 4 years of Industry experience.
I would like to enroll myself for MBL from NSLIU Bangalore, But I am aware that I cannot practice in court since its through distance education.

My question is,
1. Whether a person is eligible to do a "LLB regular course" after He/She has complete MBL through distance education so that they can practice in court ?
The reason behind is I am not in a position to do a regular law course at this point in time and also aware that I should enroll myself before 30Years for LLB and write CLAT.
