B.Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology. Distance or part time Bachelor of Technology is not approved by All India Council for Technical Education. It means that distance degree of bachelor of technology is not approved for higher studies course or government job opportunities.

*Those who want to do Bachelor of Technology must apply for Joint Entrance examination or other engineering entrance examination like State level engineering examination or private engineering exams like BITSAT, VITEEE etc.

*You should pursue regular Bachelor of Technology. You must have minimum of 50% marks in PCM for engineering.
