How to do Ph.D after masters in software engineering from state university?


Hiee friends....
I am pursuing M tech in Software Engg. from State University.
I want to go for PhD after masters.
Is it so that students with M.tech Computer Science get More preference over the ones with M.tech in S/w Engg.(SE), even if the S/W Engg student have good Gate Score..??????

No, there is nothing such, you can definitely try and get through the state university by filling in the application and thereafter approaching your guide after completing your masters.
