I have completed M.Sc. with Chemistry & am awarded national DST-INSPIRE fellowship for doing PhD. Now I want to do PhD in Chemistry from but I don't know which students or persons are eligible for direct admission to PhD program. Being INSPIRE fellow am I eligible for direct admission to PhD without written test & GD/PI just like JRF/CSIR?

Hello friend,to do PhD in chemistry, you must posses 60% in chemistry in MSc, 55% for st /sc/obc
You to give entrance exam like JEST,NET,GATE,and then
You can apply to various universities, where you will be asked for an interview.

Hello sir my specialisation in msc was physical chemistry. But now i want to do phd in organic chemistry in medicines. Is it possible to do so?

Ph.D (Doctor of Philosophy) in chemistry is an 3 years doctorate course. There are few eligibility requirements which you need to fulfill to get admission into university which will be mentioned below.

Eligibility criteria:
- The candidate should complete their masters level degree or equivalent degree from any recognized university.
- The minimum percentage varies based on the state and university.
- Few universities conduct entrance exam and few universities give direct admission.
- There are few entrance exam named NET, etc.
so you need to any entrance exam conducted by different states and universities to get admission into different university.

I am doing my Msc chemistry from mdu but there is no thesis or any other projects work in the courses nor even offered by University so where do I join as I want to do PhD and it is necessary for my CV and interview
