How to download the NDA application form?

NDA stands for National Defence Academy exam is conducted by upsc twice a year with name NDA-I and NDA-II.

Important Dates about NDA-I(2012)

Date of Notification - 31st December 2011

LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS - 30.01.2012(MONDAY)

DATE OF COMMENCEMENT OF EXAM - 15.04.2012(SUNDAY)

DURATION OF EXAM.- 1 DAY


The Notification will be published in the official website of Upsc that is http://www.upsc.gov.in and Employement news on 31st December 2011 .So please check the notification on that day for complete information .

NDA Application Forms

The NDA application forms shall be available from 31st December,2011 and the last date for the receipt of the completed application forms is 30th January,2012 for the NDA (1) Exam which is going to be held on 15th April,2012..

You can either download the form online from http://upsc.gov.in

Else,you can try for the offline mode by buying the forms from your nearest post office or your nearest book depot..

In order to appear for NDA..you should be a 12th pass out and should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

Hello friend,
The online application form for the upcoming NDA exam will be available from 31-12-2011.
Once the application form is available, you'll have to log on to www.upsconline.nic.in and follow the procedure.

The examination is supposed to be conducted on 15-04-2012.

Dear Friend,

The forms for the NDA-I examination of the year 2012 has not come yet.The date of announcement of the information regarding the NDA-I examination is declared by the UPSC as 31st December of 2011.The forms will be available upto 30th January.

i am in 11th now, may i appear in nda exam.

National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army.

Eligibility criteria for NDA:
Education qualification:
For Indian Air Force/Indian Navy:You should complete 12th class with PCM stream.
For Indian Army:You should have complete 12th class with any stream from a recognized university.
Age Limit:
Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

Important dates for NDA-2012 exam:
NDA-I exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will held on 15th April 2012.
NDA-II exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012.
Exam will held on 19th Aug 2012.
