hello friend,
you can surely get job by diploma course. but the salary is based upon your knowledge only. you can get job in two ways. one is the job in companies which come for your polytechnic college for placement. but salary for this job is less only. to get high salary, follow second way

second is spend another 6 months for studying civil softwares like
primavera
civil 3D
staad.pro
archiCAD
ansys civil.
then go to companies in off-campus with the above software knowledge. then, surely you can get job with salary in the range of 35,000-50,000.

Civil engineering diploma is enough to have a reputed job in government. You can apply for Junior Engineer positions in state departments as well as railways. PSU like ONGC, BHEL and SAIL often recruits diploma holders. PWD, Pollution Control Board, etc offer adequate opportunities. Pursuing B.tech after diploma will improve your career opportunities.
