to get into iit through gate for ECE wat are the criteria???? wats the mark we have to score in gate... and which iit is best for electronics and communication.????

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering and the examination is conducted by the IIT every year for the candidates who aspires to get the admission in M.tech course in the government nd private institutions.

The eligibility for the examination are :-

* Candidates must have passed or pursuing in the final year of B.tech degree from a recognised university.
* There is no specific requirement of aggregate or age for the GATE examination.

The examination is conducted in online mode only and also no limitation on number of attempts to appear for the examination. The GATE score are valid for three years and it is also helpful for getting the jobs in PSU.

The questions in the examination are from your stream of 1st to 4th year other than the question o Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning. So keep revision of these. The cut off marks for different stream candidate is different . So if you fulfill the above criteria you can apply.
